INSURANCE

For Pump Bar Visits an additional $45 cleaning and sterilization fee is required to ensure the equipment we offer is maintained at the highest standards. This fee is not billable to insurance.

For Home Visits, a travel fee of $50 is charged to cover time and mileage. This fee is not billable to insurance.
Due to recent changes, most insurance plans are no longer covering virtual lactation support. If you would like to schedule a virtual visit, self-pay rates will apply unless you have confirmed coverage with us prior to your appointment.
Insurance Delay Payment Policy
If payment has not been received from your insurance company within six (6) months, you will receive an invoice for the balance due. If the invoice is not paid within 30 days, the card on file will be charged for the outstanding amount, and a receipt will be emailed to you.

Insurance only covers visits if the
parent is lactating or pregnant.

Most insurance plans cover prenatal and postnatal lactation support, counseling, and equipment with no cost sharing by the individual insured per the
2010 Affordable Care Act (ACA).

However, ACA coverage requirements are not detailed and unfortunately leave room for different interpretations
and variation by the insurance companies.

If your insurance company is not listed below, Milk In Motion can still help! Payment will be collected at time of service and a super bill will be provided so you can submit for reimbursement.
